What are uneven shares?
Turn on Uneven shares to set a custom bill share and tip share for each person in the table. Fixed amounts stay put; the remainder splits evenly across unlocked rows. Totals must match the bill and tip before results are valid.
What does Multiple people paid do?
When several people paid at the table, enter how much each person paid. The results show each share, what they paid, and whether they are owed money or still owe others. Charts compare paid amounts and shares side by side.
Can I name people on the split?
Yes. Edit names in the Uneven shares or Multiple people paid tables. Labels appear in the results legend and chart tooltips.
Can I share the results?
Use Copy and Download on the Individual shares card to copy a group summary or save a picture of the breakdown. Each person row also has a copy icon for their own message.
What if tip is included in the bill?
Set tip to 0% if service charge is already in the bill amount. Adjust the bill field to match what appears on the receipt before tip.
Does rounding affect the split?
Per-person amounts are shown to two decimal places. Very small remainders from rounding are normal when splitting uneven totals or custom shares.
Is my data stored or sent to a server?
No. Bill amounts and splits are calculated locally in your browser. Nothing is uploaded or saved on a server.
